Meet Michelle (She/Her)
I support adults (age 18+) who feel overwhelmed, disconnected, or stuck in patterns that no longer serve them.
Much of my work centers around the impact of grief, trauma, and relational wounds - experiences that often leave people feeling alone in their pain, unsure how to move forward.
My approach is relational and collaborative, combining Somatic and Attachment-Focused EMDR with Internal Family Systems (IFS) to help clients explore and connect with their core Self.
I earned my Master’s degree in Counselor Education with a specialization in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from East Carolina University.
I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate (LCMHCA #A20146) in the state of North Carolina, practicing under the supervision of Ashley McMahen, LCMHC (#17140).
What You Are Feeling Makes Sense
You don’t have to hold it all on your own. If you’re feeling stuck in patterns that no longer serve you, there is space for all of it here. Through a relationally-attuned approach to therapy, I can support you in exploring the deeper layers of what has led you to this moment.
55-minute session: $125
Individual Therapy for Adults (18+)
I offer a limited number of sliding scale spots ranging from $80–$125, based on financial need.
At this time, I do not bill insurance directly. However, I’m happy to provide a superbill (a detailed receipt you can submit to your insurance provider) if you choose to seek out-of-network reimbursement independently.
